Responsibilities

• Leading end-to-end AI projects with measurable business outcomes, leveraging Agentic AI to develop high-quality solutions for various personas like sales and customer support agents.

• Building and implementing efficient, modular, and reusable AI components that support multiple projects using both Zoom AI and industry-standard technologies.

• Improving Zoom’s AI product suite and complement it with evolving industry standards; collaborate with product engineering to deploy new capabilities within Zoom.

• Applying optimization techniques to enhance model accuracy and use enterprise data to iteratively refine AI models.

• Engaging in design discussions, code reviews, and code analysis with architects and engineers to maintain high-quality code and solutions.

• Advocating AI best practices and standards, and drive process improvement and simplification initiatives using AI.

What we’re looking for

• Have extensive experience (10+) in software development with proficiency in Python and working knowledge of Java EE; solid understanding of software engineering principles and domain-driven design.

• Have hands-on experience developing AI/ML solutions, including LLMs, deep learning, NLP, and reinforcement learning, using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Scikit-learn.

• Be skilled in designing, training, validating, deploying, and monitoring ML models to achieve measurable business outcomes; experience with Hugging Face, LangChain, and vector databases.

• Be proficient in designing ETL pipelines for large datasets; familiar with Airflow, Hadoop, Spark; experienced with RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, MariaDB).

• Have knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD for AI/ML; experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure AI/ML services; skilled in debugging and optimizing large-scale data performance.

• Be able to collaborate with product owners, tech leads, and cross-functional teams; build trust with senior leaders and customers as a strategic advisor.

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
