This role is part of an analytics team. The department is involved in various activities, including managing technical and operational issues, customer service, contractual and business issues, and product-related matters. They also focus on integrating systems and improving functionalities.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated AI Engineer to integrate, develop, and promote AI solutions within our Travel distribution department. This role will involve working closely with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements, implementing AI models, and ensuring their seamless integration into our processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge in AI technologies, a background in data analytics, and effective communication skills to support AI initiatives.
Your Main Responsibilities
AI Integration and Development:

Design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms to optimize Travel distribution operations.

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.

Ensure the scalability and performance of AI models in production environments.
Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with Travel distribution stakeholders to understand business needs and identify areas where AI can add value.

Communicate complex AI concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

Provide training and support to Travel distribution staff on AI tools and best practices.
Data Analysis and Insights:

Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends.

Develop predictive models to improve decision-making and customer experiences.

Continuously monitor and refine AI models to maintain accuracy and relevance.
Advocacy and Thought Leadership:

Act as the AI supporter within the Travel distribution department, promoting the adoption of AI technologies and best practices.

Keep informed about the latest AI trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of innovation.
Required skills and qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

Proven experience as an AI Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role with a focus on AI solutions.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.

Experience with AI frameworks and libraries.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., QLIK, Power BI), and statistical analysis.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to support AI initiatives.

Familiarity with the traveling industry is beneficial.
