We are looking for an AI Software Engineer to build production-grade AI agents, workflows, and automation systems at Shuru.

Responsibilities

Build and ship end-to-end AI/LLM workflows.
Develop backend services using Python and FastAPI.
Work with prompting, RAG, structured outputs, tool calling, and agent workflows.
Build evals to measure accuracy and prevent regressions.
Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or Codex.
Own features from problem statement to production.
Debug and improve AI systems using real-world data.

Requirements

2-4 years of software engineering experience.
Strong experience with Python and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI agents.
Strong ownership and ability to work with ambiguous requirements.
Experience building and shipping production-grade applications.

Good to Have

OCR or document extraction experience.
Experience with LLM evaluation and benchmarking.
Exposure to enterprise workflows, ERP, finance, or automation.
Open-source projects or independently built AI products.
