Daimler Truck Financial Services is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in the AI Foundry platform to design, develop, and support enterprise AI, data and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building scalable data pipelines, developing interactive dashboards, and managing Foundry platform operations and integrations.

What You Drive at DTFS

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and analytical applications using AI Foundry components including Ontology, Workshop, Slate, and Contour.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and data models to support enterprise analytics and operational use cases.
  • Create and manage Ontology objects, relationships, actions, and operational workflows.
  • Build user-friendly applications and dashboards using Workshop and Slate for business stakeholders.
  • Configure and maintain Contour-based reporting and analytical views.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and security roles within Foundry environments.
  • Perform Foundry branching activities and support code migration using Marketplace and deployment workflows.
  • Configure and maintain data connections, syncs, and external system integrations.
  • Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and optimize data processing jobs.
  • Collaborate with business users, data engineers, architects, and product owners to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Support CI/CD processes, testing, release management, and platform governance best practices.
  • Provide production support and ongoing enhancements for Palantir applications and data products.

 Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in BI, data engineering, or enterprise AI platform support or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, and data engineering concepts.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Knowledge of enterprise governance and data security standards.

Exceptional Candidates May Have

  • Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry.
  • Exposure to AI/ML workflows, Ontology within Foundry.
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems and APIs with Foundry.
