We need an AI Engineer - II to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI and Machine Learning (ML) solutions to optimize financial operations, enhance decision-making, and mitigate risk. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in AI with strong financial domain knowledge to create intelligent systems for finance and accounting process automation / transformation. This is a full time, hybrid role and will work from Pune, India. 

What is a day in the life of an AI Engineer - II?

  • Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models for accounting processes.
  • Work closely with global finance and accounting team, IT teams, and business stakeholders to translate complex financial challenges into AI-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to identify automation opportunities and integrate AI solutions.
  • Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and explore their application in financial products and services.

What will I need to thrive in this role?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
  • Understanding of accounting & reporting processes, financial modeling, risk analysis, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with N8N AI workflow automation tool
  • Upto 4 years of overall with around 2 years of relevant experience in building and deploying AI/ML models, preferably in the finance and accounting projects.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for finance applications.
  • Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (Amazon SageMaker); SQL knowledge required.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps tools (Docker, CI/CD).
  • Experience  with big data technologies (Snowflake).
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
