As an AI Engineer I at Ensemble Health Partners, you will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects that directly contribute to reducing healthcare costs, improving care delivery, and elevating patient experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and develop AI and Machine Learning models and pipelines, with a focus on generative AI, LLMs, and predictive modeling
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, product leads, and software engineers to implement AI models and build required data and code pipelines
  • Evaluate and deploy models critical to solving complex problems with diverse, multimodal data sets
  • Automate processes by utilizing machine learning and build necessary infrastructure used by the entire AI team
  • Lead AI strategy by delivering solutions that combine software engineering, statistics, and machine learning effectively for complex clinical applications
  • Execute deep, thoughtful, analytical experiments that utilize the most appropriate techniques and lead to substantial incremental improvements
  • Deliver excellent reports and presentations to highlight relevant hypotheses and insights that drive decision-making within the organization

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 1-3 years of practical experience as an engineer focused on implementation of AI/ ML solutions.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with common machine learning and AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and XGBoost
  • Ability to implement, test, and deploy Machine Learning models.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or SQL
  • Proficiency in statistical techniques, data visualization, and handling large datasets
  • Familiarity with MLOps fundamentals, including orchestration tools, cloud compute, and observability tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, GCP, or AWS and their AI toolsets
  • Experience in accessing and handling databases via SQL, Azure Data Factory or similar.
  • Familiarity with data storage/management systems or Big Data frameworks (like Hadoop, Spark) expected to be known or used.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
