POSITION SUMMARY
As an AI Platform Engineer, you will drive the adoption of AI-powered workflows across Broadvoice’s internal teams, helping engineering and business departments work more efficiently using modern AI tools and automation. You will support the rollout of practical AI capabilities rather than focus on model development, acting as a bridge between technology, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
This role requires a highly hands-on profile with strong curiosity for experimenting with AI productivity tools, improving engineering workflows, and translating AI capabilities into measurable business and operational impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead initiatives to drive practical adoption of AI tools across engineering and business teams.
- Support the evaluation, testing, and operationalization of AI productivity solutions (e.g., AI coding assistants, automation tools, workflow copilots).
- Partner with engineering, SRE, platform, QA, and business leaders to identify opportunities to embed AI into daily workflows.
- Develop best practices, playbooks, and documentation to support consistent AI usage across teams.
- Design and deliver training, workshops, and hands-on enablement sessions to improve AI literacy and practical usage.
- Support AI pilots and proof-of-concept initiatives, helping scale successful experiments into production use.
- Help define basic governance guidelines, usage standards, and cost-awareness practices for AI tooling.
- Maintain a centralized knowledge hub with practical guidance, examples, and resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of experience in backend development, software engineering, or similar technical roles.
- Practical experience using AI development and productivity tools (e.g., AI coding assistants, IDE copilots, automation tooling).
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and non-technical teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Highly self-driven with athe ility to build programs and processes from scratch.
- Hands-on mindset with strong experimentation and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in SaaS, telecom, or fast-paced technology environments.
- Exposure to digital transformation, change management, or training programs.
- Basic understanding of AI governance, security, and cost control considerations.
- Experience running workshops or coaching teams on technology adoption.
