About the Program
The Solen Software Group AI Pod Fellowship is a hands-on, project-driven program designed for early-career developers who are already building with AI. Over 3 intensive months, fellows work embedded within Solen's global product and engineering teams working remotely in São Paulo, shipping real features, experimenting with the latest language models, and developing the AI-native engineering practices that will define the next decade of software.
This is not a traditional internship. We hire builders: developers who have already pushed code with LLMs, built agents, or integrated AI APIs — and who are hungry to go deeper inside a product organization.
What You'll Do
• Design and ship AI-powered product features using LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agent frameworks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate AI capabilities into production systems.
• Prototype, evaluate, and iterate on model integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models).
• Build internal tooling and automation that accelerates the broader engineering team.
• Contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning as a full team member.
• Document learnings, present demos, and share findings with the wider organization.
Who We're Looking For
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1–3 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven hands-on experience building with AI APIs or frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, Anthropic API, Hugging Face, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, version control (Git), and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Professional working proficiency in English and Portuguese.
Preferred:
• Experience deploying LLM applications in production (prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, evals).
• Familiarity with agent architectures, tool-calling, and multi-model orchestration.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or published personal AI projects (GitHub, portfolio).
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, Qdrant).
What You'll Get
• Competitive monthly gross compensation.
• Full access to enterprise AI tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, OpenAI/Anthropic API credits, and approved SaaS tools).
• Hybrid work model with access to our São Paulo workspace.
• Immersive exposure to product development, AI strategy, and engineering leadership.
• Strong-performing fellows are eligible for a full-time offer at program completion.
How to Apply
When you submit your application, please include:
• Your CV / résumé (PDF).
• A GitHub profile or portfolio link showcasing an AI project you have built.
• A short paragraph (200–300 words) describing the AI tool or application you are most proud of building.
We review applications on a rolling basis. are committed to building a diverse and inclusive cohort.
