We are seeking an early-career AI Program / Project Associate with an engineering background to support the development and execution of AI initiatives across the design teams of Gas Power Engineering. In this role, you will work with engineering, data science, and digital teams to help identify opportunities for AI-enabled improvements, support project execution, track progress, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of AI-related projects within Engineering Design teams.
- Help document business needs, user requirements, and project outcomes in collaboration with technical and functional teams.
- Contribute to maintaining project documentation, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
- Work with engineering design experts, data scientists, software engineers, and digital teams to support AI initiative execution.
- Partner with domain experts to gather inputs, understand current processes, and identify potential improvement opportunities.
- Communicate project updates clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Assist in identifying and evaluating opportunities for AI and automation in engineering design workflows.
- Support use case discovery activities, including basic research, documentation, and coordination with subject matter experts.
- Help assess process gaps, pain points, and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current on emerging AI, machine learning, and engineering digital tools through training and on-the-job learning.
- Build familiarity with AI applications relevant to engineering design, such as machine learning, computer vision, and generative AI.
- Participate in team discussions on innovation and support pilot activities for new solutions.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and grow in both technical and business areas.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Structural Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field from an accredited university or college.
- Successfull completion of Edision Engineering Program
- Strong academic foundation in engineering, analytics, data, or digital technologies.
- Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, engineering design, digital transformation, or program/project management through coursework, internships, academic projects, or early work experience.
