We are looking for an AI/Deep Learning Engineer Intern to join our AI team.
Our team develops computer vision solutions for real-world applications, primarily related to infrastructure inspection.
As an intern, you will work closely with an experienced engineer to research, train, evaluate, and improve deep learning models for challenging computer vision problems. Depending on the project, you may also help integrate models for production use.
This internship offers hands-on experience with the full machine learning workflow, including data pre-processing, model training, experimentation, evaluation, post-processing, and deployment. You will contribute to solutions used by real customers while exploring advanced computer vision and deep learning techniques.
- Research and develop deep learning solutions for computer vision tasks such as image segmentation, anomaly detection, scene reconstruction (3D point clouds), orthomosaic mapping, and measurement.
- Train, evaluate, and optimize deep learning models.
- Collaborate with an experienced engineer to deliver real world solutions.
- Assist with integrating AI models for production use where applicable.
- Present your progress and results to the team.
- Work in an international team to develop innovative solutions.
- Master's degree (completed or currently pursuing) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience developing, training and evaluating deep learning models.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with a deep learning framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with machine learning fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Linux and Git.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively drive tasks forward.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Experience with computer vision tasks such as image segmentation or object detection.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience deploying deep learning models is a plus.
