AI & Data Analytics Intern

Summer 2025 Internship: This position will be located at either our HQ in Durham, NC -OR- Frisco, TX site location.  Preferred location is Frisco, TX.  Expected program dates are May 19 – August 15, 2025.   

Job Title: AI & Data Analytics Intern

Introduction:

The AI & Data Analytics Intern contributes within the Retail Innovation Team to track and measure usage adoption rates and patterns for newly deployed Generative AI tools for internal Toshiba use. A key goal of these tools is to improve operational efficiency within our work force and supporting our service delivery excellence model.

Our organization provides maintenance break/fix and installation solutions for some of the world’s largest retailers, partnering with brands like Walmart, Kroger, and Costco to deliver innovative consumer experiences leveraging a wide range of technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Lead in a subset of the following areas as assigned:
• Creating internal dashboards to track operational metrics and KPIs
• Compiling reports for usage adoption of tools.
• Measuring the direct impact of Gen-AI tools on operational improvement
• Analyzing areas of improvement within the tools and collecting user feedback to drive use case improvements
• Learn about TGCS field services offerings and how they provide value to our clients.

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good analytic and logical problem-solving skills.
• Strong history of coursework related to Data Analysis or Data Science.

Preferred Skills:

• Currently pursuing a Mathematics or Computer Science/Information Systems degree in undergraduate or postgraduate studies
• Domain knowledge in Retail operations
