About the Role:
The AI Communication & Adoption Lead is responsible for driving awareness, understanding, and adoption of AI capabilities across IT and business units. This role sits within IT Client Services, the team focused on enhancing the associate user experience, and partners closely with technical AI teams, business stakeholders, and governance functions. The role ensures AI initiatives are communicated clearly, embraced by users, aligned with governance requirements, and supported through training and enablement. This position is based in the Milwaukee corporate office with a hybrid work arrangement.
The Impact You’ll Make:
Communication & Storytelling:
Build and execute AI awareness campaigns using multiple communication channels
Serve as a bridge between technical AI teams and business stakeholders by simplifying complex concepts
Promote AI adoption success stories to highlight value, impact, and momentum
Support business‑ and client‑facing AI narratives as needed
Coordinate with external consultants or partners on communication deliverables and training content
Change Management & Adoption:
Partner with key stakeholders to explain why and how AI is being introduced, reducing fear or confusion
Develop and manage adoption strategies to accelerate and sustain AI usage
Gather user feedback and incorporate insights into AI initiatives for continuous improvement
Training & Enablement:
Design and deliver AI literacy and enablement programs for IT, business teams, and leadership, with a focus on cross‑enterprise technologies
Create and maintain training assets such as guides, FAQs, videos, demos, and quick‑start materials
Facilitate and coordinate workshops, demos, and knowledge‑sharing opportunities to drive cross‑group learning
Track training effectiveness and adoption using KPIs and feedback loops
Stakeholder Alignment & Feedback:
Translate technical progress into clear, business‑focused updates for non‑technical stakeholders
Ensure leadership and governance teams have visibility into AI initiatives and progress
Highlight quick wins and success stories to sustain executive sponsorship
Act as the voice of the user in AI implementation discussions by establishing structured feedback channels
What You’ll Bring to Baird:
Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business‑friendly language
5–7 years of experience in change management, training, communications, or technology adoption roles
Instructional design experience designing and delivering learning assets such as training decks, videos, guides, or FAQs
Background in enterprise change management, training design, or technology adoption programs
Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and applications (deep technical expertise not required)
Ability to collaborate effectively across IT, business, and governance functions
