- Build and scale a centralized vendor and procurement function, standardizing vendor selection, contract negotiation, approval workflows, and renewal tracking across external labs, 3PL, SaaS/AI tools, and other partners to reduce risk, improve speed, and optimize spend
- Lead high-priority, ambiguous projects end-to-end, from problem definition through execution, particularly in areas critical to scaling the business
- Support resource planning and scaling efforts, partnering with Finance and leadership on budgeting, headcount planning, and ensuring strategic priorities are properly resourced
- 5+ years in consulting, strategy, or business operations with a track record of owning complex, cross-functional initiatives from definition through execution
- Experience operating in a fast-moving startup or similarly dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt quickly while maintaining focus on outcomes
- Exceptional organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes workstreams and consistently drive them to completion
- Demonstrated fluency with AI tools, agents, and workflow automation, with a track record of using emerging technologies to create leverage, reduce manual work, and improve team productivity

- Strong written and verbal communicator, capable of producing clear, executive-ready materials that drive alignment and decision-making
- High judgment and low ego: able to partner closely with senior leaders, push for clarity, and hold teams accountable while maintaining trust
- Systems thinker who uses process, tools, and data to improve speed, transparency, and reliability of execution
- Intellectual curiosity and comfort with technical domains; interest in genomics, health data, or complex data-driven products is strongly preferred
