The AI Business Engineer will:
- Identify untapped opportunities for AI-driven transformation within line of business processes
- Champion ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, bringing them forward to the Business Owner for prioritization and execution
- Continuously learn & understand banking processes to provide AI solutions that showcase business value
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop business driven workflow projects using Copilot‑based intelligent agents, low‑code/ no‑code automations, and AI‑assisted workflows using Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft 365 Chat
- Conduct research and gather data to support project planning and execution.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports and presentations as well as support the testing and validation of unit code, in conjunction with error handling through pipelines.
- Collaborate and coach business stakeholders about the use of AI in their daily operational areas while identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for AI-driven transformation
- Build Proof of Concepts (PoC) solutions primarily using Copilot Studio, M365 Copilot, Azure services and platforms with a focus on Generative AI.
- Drive discovery sprints and AI ideation efforts
- Act as a translator between business needs and technical possibilities
- Stay abreast of broad AI efforts and initiatives by collaborating with our bank-wide AI department
What you'll need:
- 5+ years of related experience in IT App Support, IT Development, IT Networking, System Analysis or similar field.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking Technology preferred.
- Working knowledge of M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, knowledge of cloud platforms and rapid prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of Agentic AI including LLMs, Agents, prompts and other related protocols
- Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Advanced proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Additional experience with pipeline development and leveraging Azure DevOps while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Intermediate to advanced ability to see the big picture and align projects with organizational goals. Capable of leading and motivating cross-functional teams. Expertise in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges as well as skilled at identifying and mitigating risks at the project level. Proficient in governance patterns tied to intake, technical reviews and architectural compliance.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
- Understanding of automated code build solutions for CI/CD Pipelines.
- Full stack development skills are a plus
