Our Corporate Finance business is a global leader, and we are looking to integrate advanced AI capabilities to further enhance our advisory services. This role offers a unique opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of finance and technology.
As an AI Strategic Business Development Analyst, you will support our forward-thinking Corporate Finance team by contributing to innovative AI and machine learning projects. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help create solutions that empower our dealmakers, providing you with invaluable exposure to the investment banking industry and the practical application of AI in solving complex financial challenges.
Responsibilities
Assist the AI Strategic Business Development team in designing, building, and testing machine learning models.
Support investment banking professionals in identifying opportunities for AI integration and process automation.
Help conduct research on the latest advancements in AI and machine learning and present findings to the team.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of data pipelines that support our AI applications.
Provide support for ad-hoc analytical projects and data-driven tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
A strong academic record and a demonstrated passion for technology and finance.
Coursework or project experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analysis.
Familiarity with Python and common data science libraries (e.g.,
Exposure to or an interest in large language models (e.g., Gemini) is a plus.
Solid foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
A strong desire to learn, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
Compensation and Benefits
Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is:$70,000
