About Spearbit & Cantina:
Founded in 2021 by former Ethereum Foundation Solidity engineers, Spearbit tackles Web3 security challenges. Our founding team built the leading blockchain language and secured the largest smart contract, protecting over $160B in value.
We're building Cantina —the "GitHub for Security"—connecting security researchers with projects needing expertise. Our Cantina security platform has powered major competitions and serves the leading projects in Web 3. It currently supports collaborative security reviews, public and private security competitions, bug bounty programs, incident response, and AI code analyzer.
Similar to how cloud-security startups emerged previously, Cantina aims to be the definitive code-security platform for the future.
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an AI & Automation Architect who blends strong AI engineering skills with a natural instinct for operational optimization. This role sits across Operations, Sales, and our internal tooling ecosystem. Your mission: design, build, and continuously improve intelligent agents and automated workflows that eliminate friction, scale high-touch processes, and empower teams across the business.
If you’re equal parts AI builder, systems thinker, and process optimizer, this role will give you huge ownership and impact..
Responsibilities:
Partner with Operations, Sales, and cross-functional leads to identify high-value automation and AI opportunities—anything from lead qualification to researcher matching to internal workflow orchestration.
Architect, build, test, and deploy AI agents (prompt-based systems, agentic frameworks, orchestration layers, RAG pipelines, etc.).
Design and implement automations and workflows across CRMs, dashboards, internal tools, and APIs.
Integrate agentic systems with existing platforms (HubSpot, Slack/Discord, workflow engines, webhooks, Make/Zapier/n8n, custom services).
Set up monitoring, KPIs, error-handling, safety checks, and human-in-the-loop review processes.
Document system designs, decision trees, exceptions, and operational runbooks.
Train internal teams on using these systems and continuously gather feedback to iterate.
Stay ahead of developments in AI agents, LLMs, automation tooling, and scalable backend patterns—and bring the best ideas into the organization.
Requirements:
Must-have
3+ years working with AI systems (LLMs, embeddings, RAG, agent orchestration, prompt engineering).
Proven experience building automation-heavy systems that support real business workflows (Ops, Sales, internal tooling, or similar).
Strong engineering skills: Python or similar, REST APIs, data pipelines, webhooks, event-driven design.
Experience with CRM or workflow automation tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier, Make, n8n, etc.).
Ability to translate operational problems into technical solutions—and explain technical decisions to non-technical teams.
A metrics-driven mindset (accuracy, throughput, efficiency, ROI).
Excellent communication skills and strong ownership mentality.
Nice-to-have
Hands-on experience with agent frameworks (LangChain agents, ReAct, AutoGPT, Toolformer, etc.).
Familiarity with vector stores, retrieval systems, and production-grade embeddings infrastructure.
Background in security, access control, logging, or auditability.
Experience scaling internal automation in a fast-moving startup environment.
Benefits
Competitive salary and performance-based compensation opportunities
Opportunity to work in an early-stage startup with a talented and passionate team.
Exposure to high-profile clients in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry
Comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits
401k plan with company match
