First Hawaiian Bank is seeking an AI Automation Analyst to join our Enterprise Information Security & Technology Risk Team. 

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM (hours may vary)

Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $88,500 to $115,000/yr; commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.

Responsibilities

The Officer, AI Automation Analyst designs, builds, implements, and supports internal AI-enabled workflows, automations, copilots, and approved business-unit agents that improve operational efficiency and internal business processes. In addition to performing hands-on automation work using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio, this role applies broader business judgment, organizational knowledge, and stakeholder influence to evaluate process needs, shape practical solutions, and guide responsible adoption within established governance, security, and operational control standards.

This position does not develop machine learning models, train AI models, or own enterprise AI platform architecture. When solutions require advanced engineering, integrations, enterprise architecture, or capabilities beyond defined business-unit guardrails, the role helps coordinate with Technology, Data, Engineering, or other centralized teams.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, operations management, technology, data analytics, risk management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience required.
  • Four (4)+ years of progressive experience in operations, business analysis, workflow automation, process improvement, digital enablement, reporting support, risk/control functions, project delivery, or related roles inclusive of:
  • Experience designing, building, supporting, or improving internal workflows, automations, reporting processes, or operational processes.
  • Experience using, configuring, or supporting low-code/no-code tools such as Microsoft Power
  • Automate, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, SharePoint, Excel, Teams, or similar workflow/productivity platforms.
  • Experience evaluating business processes, identifying operational pain points, and recommending practical improvements.
  • Experience coordinating with stakeholders, influencing process owners, or supporting cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience documenting workflows, procedures, requirements, controls, testing results, and support processes.
  • Training or certification in Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, process improvement, workflow automation, project management, risk/control disciplines, or related technologies.
  • Coursework or practical experience in business process improvement, digital operations, automation, reporting, AI-enabled productivity tools, or operational transformation.
  • Experience working in a regulated, controlled, or financial services environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a regulated, controlled, or financial services environment preferred.
