The Role
Belong is seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer who can elevate our engineering capabilities to the next level. We are embracing the transformative potential of AI, empowering engineers to not only build high-quality software but to do so at a scale and speed previously unimaginable. This isn’t just a coding role, it's a chance to redefine what's possible in frontend development by leveraging AI-driven automation and optimization.
In this role, you will harness cutting-edge AI tools to enhance productivity, accelerate feature development, and significantly reduce the time to market. You will be responsible for building intuitive, performant user interfaces that integrate seamlessly with our backend systems. Beyond writing code, you'll be deeply involved in product development, working closely with design, product, and backend engineering teams to craft exceptional user experiences.
We are looking for someone proactive and results-driven, an engineer who is passionate about tracking projects, pushing boundaries, and continuously improving. Your contributions will directly shape the experiences of thousands of users and redefine the journey of owning and loving a home.
What You’ll Do
Build and ship production-grade frontend applications using Next.js and React, optimized for performance and scalability.
Leverage AI-driven development tools to enhance code generation, testing, and deployment, maximizing output and reducing manual coding time.
Collaborate with design and product teams to create seamless, engaging user experiences.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience.
Participate actively in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning sessions.
Drive initiatives for automation in testing, deployment, and monitoring using AI tools.
Ensure accessibility and best practices are followed across all applications.
Take ownership of complex projects from concept to deployment, tracking milestones and pushing for timely delivery.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of frontend development experience with expertise in React and Next.js.
Deep understanding of modern frontend technologies and UI/UX best practices.
Demonstrated experience using AI-powered development tools to streamline code generation and increase productivity.
Strong proficiency in building responsive, high-performance applications.
Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivering projects on time.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills in both synchronous and asynchronous environments.
A strong plus: Experience building AI-driven solutions that streamline repetitive tasks, optimize workflows, and reduce human intervention.
