AN INDUSTRY LEADER WITH A HEART AS BIG AS ITS AMBITION AND INNOVATION

At Victaulic, we're committed to constructing a better world for and with our people.

Let's Build a Better World Together.

Our commitment to our people is built on four pillars:

  • We build from within.
  • We stand behind our people.
  • We foster an environment for constant learning.
  • We engineer change for a more stable and sustainable world.

YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE

We're looking for an AI Analyst to serve as the Center of Excellence's specialist in applied artificial intelligence and automation for Global Sourcing. You'll administer and govern the sourcing organization's AI and automation tools, build and maintain automations that remove manual work from sourcing and category workflows, and partner with the Spend Analytics & BI Specialist to embed AI-enabled insight into spend visibility and reporting. Rather than running sourcing events, you'll give every category manager access to well-governed AI tools, validated automations, and the technical fluency to use both safely and effectively, in compliance with enterprise AI governance standards.

WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWN

  • Provision and manage user access to AI platforms used by Sourcing with role-based permissions, and maintain the inventory of AI tools, licenses, subscriptions, and vendor contracts.
  • Enforce AI governance policies and access controls in line with enterprise standards and applicable regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, CCPA); support security assessments and audits that touch Sourcing's AI usage.
  • Collaborate with category managers and COE specialists to identify and document automation opportunities across sourcing and category-management workflows.
  • Design, build, and maintain automations (e.g., Power Automate, RPA) that reduce manual effort in sourcing processes, translating business requirements into clear technical documentation and use cases.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging AI and automation tools for sourcing use cases, partnering with the Enterprise AI team on proofs of concept and pilot programs to validate fit, scalability, and ROI.
  • Serve as the primary AI lead for cross-functional Enterprise AI projects where Sourcing is a stakeholder: gather sourcing requirements, represent the team's interests and concerns, support design and development as needed, and represent Sourcing at Enterprise Project Management and AI Governance committee meetings.
  • Track AI tool and automation performance, adoption, and ROI through dashboards, and report cost, utilization, and time savings to the COE Lead.
  • Apply best practices in prompt engineering, model configuration, and automation maintenance to keep tools accurate and efficient over time.
  • Develop and deliver training, user guides, and best-practice sessions that build AI literacy and automation fluency across the sourcing organization, and provide input to the Enterprise AI Program's literacy strategy.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for AI and automation tool questions within Sourcing, champion responsible AI use, and provide timely feedback to the AI Governance committee, including security incident reporting.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical, analyst, or process-improvement role, ideally supporting AI, automation, or analytics initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of generative AI tools (e.g., Claude) and automation/RPA platforms (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath), with the ability to translate business processes into automatable workflows.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Qlik, and comfort building and maintaining reporting dashboards.
  • Understanding of AI governance, data-privacy, and compliance basics (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act) well enough to apply them in day-to-day tool administration.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • Experience with source-to-pay or procurement platforms and sourcing/category-management workflows.
  • Python for scripting, automation, or data analysis.
  • Recent experience working in an Agile environment, with Jira for project management.
  • Exposure to prompt engineering or fine-tuning of AI models.
  • Industrial-manufacturing experience.
