Why you will be excited about the role
Because this is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated recent AGV Engineer or Graduate/ Junior to join our passionate Mobile Automation team in Notting Hill, VIC. As an AGV Engineer, you will participate in the deployment, issue resolution and customer service of AGV systems. This includes design, documentation, testing, commissioning and training with special emphasis on customer service and site commissioning ensuring customer satisfaction at all levels.
Work with technical experts and gain valuable experience, with Global leaders of AGV solutions.
This role is located in the Notting Hill office, with the flexibility of WFH and the office once the initial training has been completed, and there will also be a requirement to travel to various sites throughout Our Southern Region. As part of the onboarding process, you will also have the opportunity to experience the AGV firsthand.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide technical support to our customers by investigating, resolving, and escalating Mobile Automation system issues while keeping customers informed
Manage incidents and project tasks to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards while following internal procedures
Communicate and build strong relationships with customers, including training operators and client personnel
Maintain accurate documentation, including technical records, reports, and administrative tasks
Commissioning of AGVs on-site
Assisting senior engineers with costing, scheduling and ordering hardware/equipment
System upgrades and configuration of computer hardware
Testing and integration of AGV and PLC systems
Ensure compliance with safety standards (OHS&E), continuously improve skills, and support on-call and team responsibilities
About you:
Engineering degree - Electrical or Mechatronics / Robotics / Industrial Automation
Recent Graduate will also be considered
Experience in electrical design and installation
Knowledge of configuration, programming and commissioning of AGV PLC's (desirable)
Technical Writing (desirable)
Knowledge of PC and basic programming
Ability to be flexible and resourceful in the face of challenging situations
Strong communication skills
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work within a team environment
Hunger with the ability to learn
