SCOPE
Multi-skilled individual with primary responsibility to support production activities and facilities maintenance. The individual will perform all activities under the direction of the Operations Manager to include raw materials input and loading, material movement, general cleaning and other activities as directed by the Operations Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Loading and feeding of raw materials for extraction.
- Document all production information related to raw materials handling, including carrying out basic inspections.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition
- Clean work areas and equipment
- All other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
- Must be able to work extended hours, and an occasional weekend.
- Must possess visual acuity to document company records.
- Continuous walking throughout the facility.
- Must be able to work outside under varying (hot, cold, wet, dry, windy) weather conditions.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic understanding of Production Environment
- Basic understanding of conveyance, liquid and powder manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Ability to be self-managed, scheduling and performing work unsupervised, reliable, motivated, dedicated, and committed.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate with others
- Ability to read and understand safety warning labels
- Good communication skills with operators, other mechanics, and resources.
- Able to work in a team environment where honest communication, a positive attitude, engagement, and personal accountability is expected.
- Detail oriented individual who accurately records information.
- Able to work off-shifts, weekends & extended shifts.
- Must have ability to understand oral and written instructions in English.
- Must have good job performance and attendance records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & handle multiple tasks effectively
