Agricultural Mechanic 3
Amalgamated Sugar Company – Mountain Home, Idaho
Amalgamated Sugar Company is seeking an experienced mechanic to perform maintenance and construction on sugarbeet pilers in the Mountain Home area. This position requires someone that is mechanically inclined and enjoys working outdoors. The position is generally outdoor work in the spring, summer and fall months and maintenance work in the shop during the winter months. This position will directly report to the Agricultural Maintenance Supervisor.

Essential Job Functions:
- Must hold safety in the highest regard.
- Must work well individually and in a team environment.
- Must have basic mechanical skills, general understanding of power tools, basic welding and steel cutting knowledge, and ability to read measuring devices.
- Must own and provide mechanics hand tools for daily use.
- Be able to communicate both orally and in writing.
- Must have the ability to routinely climb stairs and ladders.
- Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, both indoors and outdoors.
- Read and comprehend written instructions including safety procedures, safety signs, schedules, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and manufacturing standards and procedures.
- Must maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
- Must be available and willing to work weekends and holidays.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass Math, Reading and Bennett Mechanical test at CSI.
- Must have a Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card or have the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $26.73 per hour

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
