Key Responsibilities

Develop separation process technologies using adsorption, ion exchange, and industrial chromatography unit operations for clients across multiple industries
Design and execute experimental pilot studies to generate engineering data and validate numerical model predictions
Apply optimization and troubleshooting techniques to identify the best technical solutions
Interpret bench-scale data and translate findings to industrial-scale applications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and interface with potential customers on new applications of ARi technology

Qualifications

B.S. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field
Strong background in experimental design and troubleshooting
Experience interpreting experimental data and applying insights to industrial-scale solutions
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical information through reports and presentations
Basic understanding of chromatographic, adsorption, and ion-exchange processes preferred
Comfortable working in cross-functional, collaborative teams
Spanish fluency is a plus

Headquartered in Boise, Idaho, Amalgamated Sugar is the second-largest refiner and processor of sugar from sugarbeets in the United States.
