We're looking for an experienced, relationship-focused Agribusiness Manager to join our Country Banking team, leveraging your networks and business development skills to manage and grow a portfolio of rural and agribusiness clients.

As an Agribusiness Manager, you'll partner with some of New Zealand's leading farming and agribusiness clients, helping them achieve their ambitions through tailored financial solutions and trusted advice.
Combining your passion for agriculture, commercial expertise and relationship management skills, you'll grow a high-performing portfolio while delivering meaningful outcomes for clients. The successful candidate will bring a passion for the rural sector, and the ability to effectively manage complex client relationships.
We're seeking someone who can demonstrate:
Solid experience in a similar role – ie relationship management gained within rural agribusiness banking or business / corporate banking with an agri focus
A sound knowledge of the rural industry and specialised financial products
Strong interpersonal, relationship and communication skills
High level of personal integrity and a strong customer focus
A tertiary qualification in finance, economics, accounting or agriculture would be advantageous
The ability to collaborate and work well as part of a team
Day to day, you will be involved with deal teams, identifying capital structure and ensuring the credit application process is completed to a high standard, while showing excellent leadership and mentoring capabilities.
