POSITION DESCRIPTION
At Sayari, we are deeply committed to aligning business strategy with product execution to drive meaningful impact. We are seeking an Agile Transformation Leader to work with our R&D organization in fostering business-aligned, consistent, and high-quality product engineering practices.
In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping and executing Lean and Agile transformation strategies, developing actionable roadmaps, and ensuring these initiatives are seamlessly integrated with the company’s vision and objectives. By identifying opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation, you will enhance efficiency and effectiveness across R&D. As a champion of Lean and Agile values, you will inspire and guide teams within R&D, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
Job Responsibilities
- Establish Lean Portfolio processes and structure to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and delivery of expected business outcomes.
- Coach and train R&D members on lean portfolio management and agile practices
- Help maintain a strategic view of portfolio initiatives; partner with teams to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement through periodic reviews.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Identify and manage cross-program and initiative dependencies, helping resolve critical challenges to de-risk value realization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to mobilize initiatives and allocate resources effectively.
- Validate KPIs and drive tracking against business case targets to monitor portfolio performance.
- Support the design and implementation of frameworks to prioritize portfolio initiatives and features within a team level backlog.
- Liaise between Engineering and Product Management teams, leadership to ensure alignment and transparency across all teams, orgs and stakeholders.
- Assist in developing dashboards and reports to track portfolio performance and value metrics.
- Review portfolio metrics and recommend start, stop, or continue decisions to optimize the portfolio.
- Lead Planning sessions and ensure alignment across teams
- Improve cross-team collaboration and communication
- Identify and address areas of improvement within Agile practices and teams
- Organize and lead Agile events (Scrum of Scrums, Team ceremonies, Retrospectives, Demo)
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years in a role of Lean Portfolio Strategy Leader within an enterprise SaaS product organization
- Skilled and experienced implementing different types of scaled agile frameworks: Scrum of Scrumes, Scrum@scale, Large Scale Scrum (LeSS), SAFe, Portfolio Kanban, Nexu.
- Highly collaborative leader
- Strong focus on ensuring product and engineering teams are aligned and striving to deliver high value on a frequent basis
- Hands on support helping teams execute portfolio and backlog management.
- Facilitate seamless communication, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently within Agile frameworks
- Certified in agile: scrum-master, scaled agilist, certified agile professional
