Credence has an immediate need for an Agile Software Engineer who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance / Special Operation Forces (ISR/SOF) WIS Directorate at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH.
The Air Force Program Executive Officer (PEO) for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) (AFPEO/WI) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility for equipping our war-fighters to win the fight.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
- Support software development activities required for defining, developing, testing, integrating, and fielding applications, plugins, and updates.
- Manage all software development efforts. This includes development, implementation, integration, and maintenance of software as documented in the Software Development Plan. This will include, but not limited to, platforms, support equipment, training systems, and mission planning systems.
- Review system/subsystem design information proposed for development to include, but not limited to, Software Requirements Specifications, Software Design Descriptions, Test Plans, Test Descriptions, Test Reports, Software Product Specifications, Interface Requirements Specification, and Software Version Descriptions.
- Participate in team meetings, technical reviews, and program management reviews, as required.
- Provide technical guidance on software development practices, performance trades, risks, systems integrations issues, software assurance and cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Clearance: Secret
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoW or
- Seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications five of which must be in the DoW
- Two (2) years of minimum experience in the acquisition/development of software.
- Agile software development and/or DevSecOps experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with Team Awareness Kit / Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) software is highly desirable.
