ECS is seeking an Agile Scrum Lead (Level 4) to work in our Fairfax, VA office.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Agile Scrum Lead (Level 4) to lead a large-scale Business Systems Optimization initiative across critical enterprise platforms, including Deltek Costpoint 8.2, Spectrum CLM, ADP HRIS, and Salesforce. Reporting to the CIO. this role will serve as the primary Agile delivery leader, driving cross-functional alignment, execution excellence, and continuous improvement across ECS finance, contracts, HR, and CRM systems.
The ideal candidate brings deep Agile leadership experience, strong enterprise systems knowledge, and a proven ability to lead complex, multi-vendor transformation programs in regulated or enterprise environments. The ideal candidate can sit between executives, systems, and teams and keep all three aligned.
This is not a team-level Scrum Master position. Resumes that focus primarily on Agile ceremonies, tools, or team-level facilitation without evidence of enterprise delivery leadership and business systems optimization will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree) required
- 12+ years of progressive IT delivery experience, with significant experience leading complex, enterprise technology or digital transformation initiatives across multiple, interdependent business systems
- 6+ years of Agile/Scrum leadership experience scaling Agile beyond a single team (program, portfolio, or enterprise level), including serving as a senior or enterprise-level Scrum Lead
- Competency in enterprise finance, HR, contracts, and CRM business processes and operations workflows with hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of 1-2+ of the following platforms:
- Deltek Costpoint (8.x preferred)
- Spectrum Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)
- ADP HRIS
- Salesforce
- Deep, practical mastery of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks and enterprise agility practices at scale with competence in flow metrics and value delivery measurements
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority across matrixed organizations and senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication, facilitation, servant leadership, and executive presentation skills of delivery health, risks, and tradeoffs
- Hands-on experience with Agile tooling (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow)
