Position Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of Agile projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, priorities, and timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and establish project governance structures.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensure that development teams have a clear understanding of project requirements.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, providing guidance, coaching, and support to Agile teams.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders, including senior leadership and external clients.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging feedback and lessons learned to optimize project delivery processes.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to Agile project management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, PMBOK).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., ClickUp, Jira, Smartsheet).
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant certifications are desirable but not required.
- Experience working with distributed teams across different time zones is a plus.
