We are looking for an impact-driven, Senior Product Manager within our AI Products and Insights team, to lead our Next-Gen Agentic Search Platform, powering content discovery, and downstream AI experiences across the enterprise, including AskGartner.
In this role, you will own the product strategy and evolution of the platform that determines how content is ingested, enriched, indexed, retrieved, and served across the enterprise. You will help modernize our search stack by advancing lexical and vector retrieval capabilities, while ensuring the platform integrates effectively with emerging agentic and LLM-based orchestration patterns.
You will work at the intersection of search, AI, and platform product management, shaping a foundational capability used by multiple downstream teams and products. This is an opportunity to solve deep technical product problems, influence platform architecture, and drive broad enterprise impact in a complex, fast-evolving ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Own the strategy, roadmap and delivery for Agentic Search Platform, aligning priorities to enterprise AI strategy, client use-cases, and downstream product needs.
- Lead platform transformation initiatives, including migration from Solr to OpenSearch, integration with modern Agentic patterns and LLM-orchestration frameworks, while maintaining continuity for downstream consumers.
- Define and evolve end-to-end indexing strategy and retrieval architecture, including pipelines for ingestion, enrichment, indexing, to better leverage diverse and evolving enterprise content sources.
- Drive measurable improvements to ranking and relevance through AI/ML-based retrieval and reranking approaches (e.g., learning-to-rank, semantic retrieval, hybrid search patterns), improving precision/recall, engagement, and core experience metrics.
- Establish a rigorous evaluation framework and guardrails for Search platform performance, including relevancy, latency, reliability, and scalability, and use those insights to guide prioritization and continuous improvement.
- Enable downstream teams by building robust, well-defined Search APIs and services, and platform abstractions that reduce friction and accelerate development across surfaces.
- Expand platform adoption by bringing Search capabilities to new domains and product surfaces, increasing enterprise-wide leverage.
- Own cross-functional coordination and communication—driving alignment across Product, Engineering, Data Science, and dependent teams, and managing complex dependencies in a fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Background
- 5–7+ years of product management experience, with meaningful exposure to technical platforms and enterprise SaaS products.
- Deep understanding of search and retrieval systems, including indexing strategies, metadata enrichment, retrieval workflows, ranking mechanisms, and modern search ecosystems (e.g., OpenSearch/Elasticsearch).
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and vector databases
- Demonstrated experience working with AI/ML-powered relevance and ranking systems, with practical understanding of model tradeoffs, feature engineering, evaluation frameworks (offline metrics + online experimentation), and what it takes to operationalize these systems in production.
- Track record of shipping technical products or platforms from zero-to-one and scaling them through adoption and iteration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to diagnose gaps in system behavior or output quality, and translate them into structured, high impact improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI-ML and system concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment.
Who You Are
- Genuinely curious, you dig into problems because you want to understand them, not just resolve them. You read broadly, ask good questions, and notice things others miss.
- Proactive and self-directed, you don’t wait for assignments. You see gaps, form a point of view, and move toward solutions before being asked.
- Humble and learning-oriented, you’re comfortable saying “I don’t know” and genuinely excited to learn from the people around you, regardless of their title.
- Sincere about the work, you care about building something meaningful, not just shipping features. You take pride in craft and hold yourself to a high standard because the work matters to you, not because someone is watching.
- A clear, honest communicator, you can articulate complex tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences, and you default to transparency over spin.
- Driven by impact, you measure your own success by whether the product got better and users got more value, not by how many things you launched.
- Comfort with ambiguity: you’ve operated in environments where the right answer wasn’t obvious and you had to develop conviction through experimentation and judgment.
- Comfortable operating in 0-to-1 innovation environments: you can create structure where little exists, make pragmatic tradeoffs, and drive work from early discovery through initial launch.
Why This Role
- Shape a product used by hundreds of thousands of enterprise decision-makers worldwide, with direct visibility into how your work moves business outcomes.
- Work at the frontier of applied AI in enterprise, rethinking how humans interact with deep institutional knowledge.
- Join a high-caliber, tight-knit product team that values rigorous thinking, intellectual honesty, and building things that matter.
- Operate with real ownership: the team is small enough that your judgment directly shapes what gets built, and senior enough that your voice is heard in strategic conversations.
- Learn and grow in an environment that invests in product management as a craft, with structured development, mentorship, and a culture of continuous improvement.
