Role: Agentic AI Engineer for Secure Software Engineering (Mid-level)
🤖🔐 We’re building agentic AI for secure software delivery - join our team in Engineering & Digital Transformation to develop agents that make SSDLC security faster, smarter, and easier to operate.
In Thales Engineering & Digital Transformation, we build and evolve engineering tools and practices that accelerate secure software delivery across the lifecycle.
We’re strengthening our team with a Mid-Level Agentic Developer to design and deliver LLM-powered agents that improve Thales’ Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC).
Your focus:
- Making cybersecurity activities faster, smarter, and more scalable starting with vulnerability detection and remediation and supporting the team in building real engineering value from agentic AI
What you’ll do:
- First priority: vulnerability detection and remediation
- Design and develop agentic AI tools to automate cybersecurity workflows inside SSDLC
- Build and iterate on multiple agents that help teams execute secure development activities more efficiently.
- Prototype, experiment, and assess new approaches through technical implementation and evaluation (including vendor/open-source solutions).
- Contribute to SSDLC tooling improvement by integrating your solutions with existing practices and platforms.
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, DoR/DoD validation, sprint reviews) and propose well-scoped work items
Support team members by sharing knowledge and best practices on:
- LLM technologies
- Agentic patterns
- Cloud-based delivery approaches
- Stay on top of the technology landscape (AI for cybersecurity) and recommend tools/tactics based on evidence
How you’ll work with us:
- You’ll join a team responsible for engineering tooled practices and digital/AI transformation, where curiosity, hands-on experimentation, and strong collaboration are key
- You’ll help turn innovative AI concepts into usable, reliable security tooling for real development teams.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of LLMs and agentic systems
- Good understanding of SSDLC steps and existing security tooling
- Cloud experience: Azure and GCP
- Experience building with LLMs accessible through an AI gateway (models v1 API), a cloud-premise agentic platform (being set up)
- Ability to experiment with technologies and communicate outcomes clearly in fluent technical English (writing + speaking)
Nice to have:
- MLOps experience
- AI certification(s)
Soft skills:
- Teamwork, problem solving, time management
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication and willingness to help others
