The Agency Receivable Management Lead is responsible for the effective governance, and recovery of consolidated receivables arising from both active and inactive advisors. The role entails close coordination with internal and external stakeholders to monitor, manage, and facilitate the timely collection of outstanding receivables from agency distributors. Key responsibilities include maintaining a structured engagement and regular cadence with the accredited collection agency, escalating delinquent accounts to Legal and Compliance for appropriate legal action, and actively monitoring the progress and outcomes of such cases. Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitor progress and ensure the timely submission of consolidated financial accountabilities by all Business Units (BUs) and teams on a monthly basis.

  • Review reported accountabilities and notify concerned BUs (Agency Benefits, Agency Recruitment, Business Development, Finance, Distribution Risk and Quality Control) of identified discrepancies requiring reconciliation with Distribution Accounting, completion of required supporting documents, or formal approval for unreconciled amounts.

  • Issue regular reminder notices for overdue accountabilities to active advisors, with copy distribution to the Sales Management Team (SMT) Operations, Zone Heads, and upline leaders, and conduct follow‑through actions until settlement.

  • Prepare and issue monthly demand letters, signed by the Distribution Operations and Analytics Head, reflecting the final recoverable amount confirmed by the respective BUs.

  • Maintain custody, retention, and proper filing of proof of delivery or non‑delivery for reminder notices, demand letters, and endorsed collection cases.

  • Endorse qualified receivable cases to the accredited Collection Agency and monitor collection status on a regular basis.

  • Prepare and release consolidated reports on outstanding receivables, including collection progress, aging, accounts tagged as non‑recoverable, recommended write‑offs, and paid or closed accounts.

  • Manage post‑dated checks received from advisors under approved repayment arrangements.

  • Consolidate recommended actions on outstanding accountabilities from Distribution teams and endorse cases to the Agency Financial/Debt Recovery Committee.

  • Update process documentation for any approved changes and cascade revised procedures to relevant stakeholders within Agency Distribution and Distribution Accounting.

  • Identify and recommend process improvements and business rule updates that may impact receivable collection.

  • Administer and maintain the Agency Receivable Management System application.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable management, ideally in a Life Insurance setting.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • A very strong eye for detail along with excellent analytical skills.

  • Highly organized.

  • Excellent report writing skills.
