This role will support the Agency Business Planning & Analytics Lead by delivering clear, meaningful distribution reports and analyses that enable effective monitoring of key Agency KPIs and sales drivers. This includes areas such as variable compensation, channel expenses, and the development of costing models, all aimed at influencing agent behavior and driving target achievement.
The role also provides data-driven recommendations to support informed business decision-making. In fulfilling these responsibilities, the individual is expected to collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including Agency MIS, Finance, the Sales Management Team, and various Agency support teams.
Position Responsibilities:
Business Planning:
Distribution Reporting and Analytics
Development and preparation of reports and analysis to effectively monitor Agency KPIs (headcount, activity, productivity, case size) to drive production (APE) & achievement of targets
Preparation & timely release of reporting requirements for both for local and regional stakeholders
Development and release of reports and analysis to monitor KPIs of various Agency projects and initiatives
Strategic planning, target setting & forecasting
Trend analysis and modeling
Simulations / modeling / forecasting / trend analysis / analytics to support data driven business decisions
Costing models for local campaigns and initiatives by using projections based on available data
Finance Management
Regular and timely monitoring of Agency expenses (both fixed and variable) to ensure expenses and budget are maximized
Annual budget setting
Agency Compensation
Simulation, implementation & monitoring of Agency compensation scheme (including system enhancements) to drive desired distributor behavior
Business case preparation and approval
Others:
Participation and involvement in various Distribution projects, programs & initiatives
Close coordination with various departments (Distribution and other Divisions)
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in the life insurance industry in a distribution performance reporting role and advantage
Excellent grasp of Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Derive key insights from volumes of data
Knowledgeable in financial spreadsheets preparation, trend analysis, data simulation and report commentary writing
Technical programming skills, data processing & simulation
