Ziegler Ag Equipment has an opening for an Ag Sales Support Representative (SSR) to serve and support our agricultural customer base. The primary focus of this role is to enhance the after‑sales experience by proactively engaging existing customers to promote service contracts and provide operational support. The SSR will apply and continue developing their understanding of farm operations and equipment applications to organize and facilitate equipment demonstrations and operator training. In addition, this role will support the various technology offerings to optimize the performance of our customers’ equipment.

Responsibilities:

· Organize and deliver engaging operator training and onboarding sessions for equipment across Ziegler’s portfolio, including FENDT, Massey Ferguson, Gleaner, Brandt, Geringhoff, and CAT

· Promote and sell extended warranties, service contracts, and customer support programs that improve machine uptime and long-term ownership value

· Lead field demonstrations that showcase machine capabilities, precision technology, and performance benefits

· Serve as the frontline resource for basic technology support, helping customers navigate displays, connectivity tools, machine data, and precision ag features

· Collaborate closely with Account Managers and Sales Representatives on deliveries, demonstrations and follow-up activities that strengthen customer loyalty and support sales growth

· Document all customer interactions, demonstrations, and training activity in the CRM to support transparency and alignment across teams

· Maintain strong knowledge of equipment, competitive products, and emerging agriculture technologies through continuous training

· Support Ag Product Support teams by assisting with branch training needs to ensure cross-departmental proficiency

· Promote and reinforce safety best practices during all training, demonstrations, and equipment operation sessions

Qualifications:

· High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Ag related field is preferred

· Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort operating agricultural equipment

· 2+ years of agriculture experience preferred

· Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly

· Strong work ethic with a proactive mindset and sense of urgency

· Ability to operate agricultural equipment safely and confidently

· Availability during off-hours and weekends to support customer emergency needs as required

· Personal attributes: Self-motivated, customer-focused, strong learning orientation, empathetic, confident, and collaborative

· Must have and maintain a clean driving record

Travel:

· Up to 50% travel within assigned territory; minimal overnight travel

  • Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing

The total compensation (base plus incentive) for this position is

$90,700.00 to $136,000.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, and education. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
