Responsibilities
· Learn and understand Ziegler’s organizational structure, business units, and internal processes.
· Communicate regularly with your supervisor regarding progress, training needs, and development opportunities.
· Build relationships with employees across Sales, Parts, Service, Product Support, Marketing, and Technology.
· Participate in online and in-person training to develop product knowledge and understanding of Ziegler systems.
· Shadow Sales Representatives and Account Managers during customer visits, sales calls, and equipment demonstrations.
· Develop basic knowledge of Ziegler’s equipment lines, including CAT, FENDT, Massey Ferguson, Gleaner, Brandt, Geringhoff, and used inventory.
· Learn to enter and maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system.
· Observe and participate in branch operations to understand how Parts, Service, and Product Support contribute to customer success.
· Represent Ziegler professionally in all interactions with customers and employees.
· Assist with trade shows, field days, and company events, including setup, tear-down, and attendee engagement.
· Learn the fundamentals of prospecting, lead follow-up, pricing strategy, and team selling.
· Complete an assigned project or business-need-based assignment, such as market research, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, or process improvement. Intern will present findings to our Ag leadership at the end of the internship.
· Make supervised customer calls and log activities in CRM.
· Demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to professional development.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
· Strong agricultural background or interest in the ag industry.
· Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus.
· Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation.
· Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
· Proficient computer skills
· Self-motivated, customer-focused, and eager to learn.
· Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
· Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
· Willingness to operate equipment for demonstration purposes after training.
Travel
· Up to 25–50% travel for customer visits, events, and training.
· Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Minimum Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, sitting, using hands, talking, hearing

The pay range for this position is
$17.47 to $20.95Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
