After-School Tutoring Supervisor
The After-School Tutoring Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of the after-school tutoring program. This role includes overseeing academic programming, supervising tutoring staff, managing student groups, and monitoring student academic progress in alignment with school goals. The Supervisor will ensure a safe, productive, and supportive environment for all participants. Program hours are from 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Program Leadership:
- Oversee the implementation of the after-school tutoring program aligned with academic priorities.
- Monitor student engagement and academic progress through regular check-ins and assessments.
- Adjust tutoring strategies to meet the evolving needs of students.
Staff Supervision:
- Supervise tutoring staff and provide support, feedback, and training as needed.
- Ensure staff are prepared and equipped with materials and guidance.
- Maintain attendance records for staff and students.
Student Support:
- Manage student groupings to ensure academic alignment and productive sessions.
- Address student behavior concerns and implement positive behavior interventions.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants.
Data and Compliance:
- Track and report student attendance and academic progress.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and school policies.
- Submit any required program documentation and updates in a timely manner.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Coordinate with school leaders, teachers, and families to align after-school support with in-school instruction.
- Serve as a point of contact for program-related questions or concerns from staff and families.
- Communicate program goals, successes, and needs to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching and coaching experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of instructional strategies and academic data use.
- Must be in good standing (attendance and other job responsibilities) and available 3:30–5:30 PM daily.

The CCSP benefits package is subject to the terms outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for members that are subject to the CBA.
