Job Description:

Are you passionate about creativity, entrepreneurship, and helping students develop practical life skills? Do you enjoy making learning engaging through hands-on projects and interactive activities? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Creative Arts & Financial Literacy Instructor!

In this role, you will inspire students in grades K-6 by leading fun, educational enrichment classes that encourage creative expression while introducing foundational financial concepts. Through engaging lessons and project-based learning, you'll help students build confidence, think critically, solve problems, and develop valuable real-world skills.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead engaging after-school enrichment classes focused on creative arts and financial literacy for students in grades K-6.
  • Teach age-appropriate concepts such as budgeting, saving, entrepreneurship, goal setting, money management, and responsible financial decision-making through interactive activities and games.
  • Guide students through hands-on creative projects using a variety of artistic mediums, encouraging imagination, collaboration, and self-expression.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where every student feels encouraged to participate and succeed.
  • Follow BAM! curriculum while adapting instruction to meet the needs and learning styles of diverse student groups.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and ensure a safe, organized learning environment.
  • Communicate professionally with school staff, program managers, and families as needed.
  • Serve as a positive role model who encourages curiosity, creativity, responsibility, and confidence.

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience teaching, mentoring, or working with youth in creative arts, financial literacy, business, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of creative arts and/or foundational financial literacy concepts appropriate for elementary students.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and mentoring children.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students through hands-on, interactive instruction.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license or state-issued ID.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.
  • Willingness to complete required training.
  • Ability to lift and carry approximately 20 to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Details:

  • Wage: $ 32.00 per hour
  • Job Type: Part-Time
  • Availability: 
    • September 14, 2026 until May 21, 2027 
    • Monday to Friday - 2 hours per day (afternoon sessions)
