In this role, you will be a key contributor to our supply chain team, working closely with cross-functional partners to Initiate and implement demand planning activities per customer & Improve demand planning accuracy in Africa subregion.
Responsibilities- Collects & loads demand information from project managers & presales
- Analyzes the forecast relevant information across the CT and build a complete picture of future needs to achieve CTs volume and sales targets
- Prepares and conducts monthly CT demand planning meeting
- Challenges account volume demand plan and forecast accuracy
- Analyses gap between financials and demand forecast and challenges the stakeholders to reduce it to +/-10% target
- Ensures continuous update of demand changes between cut-offs
- Communicates feedback from supply planning and regional demand planning within CT
Must-Have:
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, consumer-facing industry.
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Personal Drive & Coping with Pressure
Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, such as machine learning or predictive modeling, for demand forecasting.
- Proficiency with BP and Power BI is a plus
