What you’ll bring to the table:
- Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server databases to support business applications.
- Develop and implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Ensure database security by implementing access controls, encryption, and auditing.
- Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
- Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SQL DBA in a Windows environment.
- Proficiency in SQL Server (versions 2016 and above) and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of database architecture, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Familiarity with Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.
- Experience with database security best practices and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
