Who You Are:
Highlevel is looking for a detail-oriented and people-first Affiliate Payment Ops Specialist II. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of our referral and endorsements programs — making sure affiliates and endorsers are paid accurately, records are maintained meticulously, and every partner feels supported. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to develop expertise in SaaS partnerships, financial operations, and affiliate marketing.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Develop a thorough working knowledge of the commissions structure and apply it consistently across all affiliate activity
Monitor and maintain affiliate records within the referral program platform, including upgrade tier tracking, referral link assignments, and account tagging
Validate commission calculations on a regular basis to for accuracy before payouts are processed
Process weekly commission payouts in a timely and accurate manner, flagging discrepancies for resolution
Maintain organized affiliate payment and tax records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Prepare and issue year-end 1099 forms to applicable affiliates
Serve as the primary point of contact for affiliate inquiries, managing a high-volume inbox with professionalism, accuracy, and a consistent response standard
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Affiliate department, managing communications and manual requests, escalating complex cases as needed
Identify patterns in affiliate questions or issues and proactively surface process improvement opportunities to leadership
Administer endorsement payouts, confirming agreements are accurately reflected in payment records and disbursements are processed on schedule
Track and reconcile endorsement payment terms, deliverables, and payout milestones in coordination with relevant stakeholders
Directly enter and manage endorsement invoices in the AP system, securing comprehensive documentation and accurate coding to guarantee timely cross-departmental submission and absolute audit readiness
Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain and update the endorsements tracker, confirming accuracy and completeness for the marketing team's visibility
Serve as the operational link between the Marketing department and accounting on all endorsement-related payment activity

What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Minimum of 2 years in a front-facing role, preferably in Affiliate operations or Accounts Payable
Hands-on experience with referral program tracking software, such as FirstPromoter
Experience with global payout platforms and methods
General understanding of Accounts Payable processes, including vendor onboarding and tax documentation
Experience with working with data in Excel and Google Sheets
A customer-first mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills
