As an Affera™ Product Specialist, you will play a key role in expanding adoption of the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System across Slovenia and Croatia, supporting a growing cardiac ablation business focused on improving care for patients with atrial fibrillation and other complex arrhythmias. Following the acquisition of the Affera™ platform, this position combines clinical expertise, technical leadership, and customer partnership to help electrophysiology teams integrate advanced mapping and ablation technologies into clinical practice. You will provide hands-on support during procedures, deliver product training, contribute to workflow development, and work closely with physicians, EP Lab staff, and internal partners to drive successful site activations and long-term customer success. Frequent travel within the assigned territory is required.
The role is opened in Croatia, however the candidates from Slovenia are welcomed to apply as well.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Provide clinical and technical support during electrophysiology mapping and ablation procedures using the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System and related equipment.
• Deliver training, education, and in-service programs for physicians and EP Lab staff to support safe and effective product use.
• Serve as the technical expert for the Affera™ platform, troubleshooting product issues and supporting customer needs in clinical settings.
• Support new site activations and execute product launch activities to ensure successful adoption and utilization.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to develop and optimize advanced clinical workflows.
• Support the development of training centers in partnership with the education team.
• Conduct market assessments, competitive product analyses, and opportunity evaluations within the assigned territory.
• Maintain current knowledge of the Medtronic Cardiac Ablation Solutions portfolio, product updates, instructions for use, and relevant clinical literature.
• Contribute to territory plans, objectives, and deployment of product and service value propositions.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Medical Engineering, or a scientific discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical electrophysiology (EP) experience.
• Minimum 1 years of independent support experience for EP mapping procedures.
• Fluency in English and local language/s.
• Valid driving license.
