Atrial fibrillation affects over 33 million individuals worldwide and is the most common form of serious arrhythmia. Being in a fast-growing cardiac ablation business segment and with recent acquisition of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System, we are poised to provide innovative solutions to address unmet needs for many patients. We are seeking a talented and motivated Affera Electrophysiology Mapping Specialist to join our team to further drive the growth of the business.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide proficient clinical and technical assistance to physicians and Electrophysiology Lab Staff on the use of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System, PFA & Cryo.
  • Provide in-service training to introduce new technologies to various hospital stakeholders and ensure technology acceptance. 
  • Play an active role in the planning and effective installation of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System and efficiently collaborate with the technical department.
  • Work closely with the education team and support the development of training centers. 
  • Demonstrate excellent ability to plan cases and define priorities to maximize case coverage.
  • Ability to manage high-stress situations with a clear problem-solving mindset. 
  • Ability to travel on weekly basis. 

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required in electrical or medical engineering or related scientific disciplines. 
  • 5+ years of clinical Electrophysiology experience and successful independent support of Electrophysiology mapping procedures. 
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to be flexible and travel as required.
  • Independent, self-reliant thinking and acting as well as a sense of responsibility.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, medical engineering, or related scientific discipline
