Job Title: AFC Transaction Monitoring - Senior QA Automation Specialist - AVP
Location: Pune, India
Role Description
- You will be joining the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Technology team and will work as part of a multi-skilled agile squad, specializing in understanding, enhancing and expanding the datasets required in Transaction Monitoring to identify Money Laundering or Terrorism Financing.
- You will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems, analyze large complex datasets and develop a deep understanding of the Transaction Monitoring functions and dataflows.
- As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of the data required to run our transaction monitoring systems.
- Your expertise in QA automation will be critical to safely deploying regular and changes on a global product for both global and country specific changes.

Your key responsibilities
- As a Senior QA Automation Specialist your main responsibilities will involve:
- Actively participates in the design, development and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks and harnesses
- Adheres to test automation best practices as defined at organization level
- Analyze system requirements and defines automation scope at user story level
- Designs, develops, and maintains automated test scripts
- Performs test automation executions, identifies failures' root cause and compiles reports to stakeholders
- Analyze requirements, write test cases, and create test data
- Identifies defects based on test executions results, submits them in the bug tracking tool and tracks them throughout the defect lifecycle
- Helps and provides mentorship to other members of the team from a test automation perspective
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members (vendor, IT, and business users across different countries and time zones)
- Identifying areas of weakness to existing procedures, continually implement new procedures, and assessing risk of impact from changes to projects
- Collaborate with the Engineering teams to integrate automated testing with CI/CD and other Engineering processes
- Introduce/improve data quality checking approaches to our overall automation tooling
Your skills and experience
- Expert in SQL
- Hands on with writing performant and efficient SQLs
- Experience on testing on GCP
- Able to write SQLs on BigQuery
- Able to understand cost aspects of SQLs
- Write DAGs/Py/SQL scripts to automate testing on large datasets
- Buckets/Composer
- Domain Knowledge
- Banking & Payments domain
- Able to understand linkages between Transactions/Payment, Account, Party attributes
- Able to understand requirements from business and product owners
- Writing test cases, creating mapping and data lineage documents
- Test planning, designing, and test strategy/case/script creation and execution
- HP-ALM experience
- Strong experience in software development processes, models, lifecycles, and methodologies, with particular emphasis on Agile
- 6+ years overall software testing experience
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Working in parallel on more than one initiative, good time and priorities management
- Good communication, organizational and test reporting skills
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science (or equivalent diploma/work experience)
