Roles and Responsibilities
- As People Leader provide strategic leadership to the Aero Industrialization and Compressor Teams in Queretaro.
- Functionally lead the Aero Industrialization PDE Team in the execution in the execution of innovative new product designs, including delivery of 3D model-based designs with PMI, GD&T, specifications, Bill of Materials, and documentation.
- Manage team deliverables and interact closely with the other Engineering organization managers (inside and outside PDE) to execute with quality, on-time and meet NPI, REQ and FPC budgets to assure business needs are covered as well as internal/external customer satisfaction.
- Effectively prioritize and resolve emergent issues for customers, services, repair, manufacturing, and supply chain.
- Drive a strong operating rhythm, promote a strong vision, and communicate progress on priorities and strategy.
- Ensure timely communication of technical and business information between organizations and within the team.
- Serve as a coach, mentor and leader for direct reports and the global reach.
- Drive the strategy for the team’s technical growth thru tools such TGM and the EVGM.
- Directly impact product margins through execution of the cost out plan.
- Partner with Gas Turbine engineering and manufacturing organizations globally to align priorities and promote a “one team” environment.
- Promote continuous improvement through Lean, implementing process/technology enhancements for increased quality and productivity.
- Drive visibility and harmonization with global CMPD teams including design, tools and processes.
- Grow team’s technical capabilities in advance 3D modeling, PMI, GD&T, coding and automation.
- Incorporate and drive a strong Quality Culture promoting a sense of ownership and accountability. Oversee NCN execution and evaluate root cause and corrective/preventive actions.
- Oversee engineering change revisions and evaluate root cause and corrective/preventive actions.
- Provide strong and proactive team representation with program managers during the program funding budget planning cycle.
- Manage 3rd party Purchase Service Agreements, SOW’s, and SW&L funding for procurement of hardware/software, services and fixed scope resources.
- Drive team adherence to Engineering/Drafting design practices and quality procedures.
- Deliver innovation and optimization in support of the Digital Thread strategy through the model-based enterprise and digital tools.
- Partner with AMRT, NTI and Gas Turbine Technology Lab engineering to resolve technology barriers in advance manufacturing and design to increase competitiveness and profitability.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Power Generation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with peers and leadership (including executives) in Spanish and English. Able to present key data effectively and clearly. Communicate assertively.
- Experience in managing budgets, HC, and program progress.
- Experience coordinating relevant projects with autonomy/ownership
- Demonstrated Project Management skills or the ability to document, plan, market, execute, control, close, and manage programs, projects, orders, activities, or systems.
