Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AEM Lead to architect, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade Adobe Experience Manager solutions. This position will be a contract and remote opportunity with candidates residing in Florida.

Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

What You’ll Do

• Lead development and integration of Adobe Target, Analytics, and other marketing tools

• Ensure scalable, secure, high-performance digital experiences

• Mentor developers and conduct code reviews

• Establish best practices in performance, security, and monitoring

• Collaborate with marketing teams on personalization initiatives

What You'll Need

Required:

• 7-10+ years of relevant technical experience

• Deep expertise in AEM architecture, Sling, OSGi, Java, REST APIs, and cloud deployment (AEM as a Cloud Service)

• Experience with Java (Core & OSGi), AEM Architecture Fundamentals, AEM Components & Templates

• Knowledge of Sling Framework & JCR (Repository, Oak), OSGI Services and Components

• Familiarity with AEM Workflows and Translations, CI/CD Pipelines (GitHub Actions)

• Experience with AEM Dispatcher & Caching, Front-End Technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

• Skills in Integrating AEM with Cloud Platforms (AWS), AEM as a Cloud Service

• Proficiency in Adobe Marketing Cloud Tools (Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics)

• Experience with AEM Assets & DAM (Digital Asset Management), AEM Testing (JUnit, AEM Mocks)

• Knowledge of Version Control (Git), API Integrations (REST, GraphQL, Adobe I/O)

• Expertise in Authorization & Security (ACLs, OAuth 2.0), Headless & SPA delivery (React, Vue)

• Understanding of Adobe Dynamic Media, CDN (Aakamai), Apache Solr

• Ability to conduct Code Reviews & Technical Oversight, Solution Architecture & Design

• Skills in Performance & Scalability Optimization, Extending AEM functionalities via APIs

Preferred:

• Skills and experience working with marketing teams on personalization are helpful

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is $80.00-$90.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
