Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead frontend development at one or more projects for key customers
- Lead and participate in client meetings, professionally and expertly
- Translate business needs into technical requirements
- Provide constructive feedback in code reviews and help others to become better developers
- Own the frontend build system and define how frontend tools are to be integrated with platforms such as AEM
- Lead the development of scalable single-page applications in AEM
- Write well designed, efficient code that works across devices
- Build reusable components with HTL (Adobe’s templating language), CSS and JavaScript
- Develop mission-critical authoring and user experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional hands-on Frontend Development experience
- Built sites using: AEM 6.1 and above
- Proficiency with AEM Components, Dialogs, Templates, ClientLibs and Fragments
- Understand the tools and frameworks that come with AEM and how they are linked with each other. For example, know what Core WCM Components, ACS Commons, Granite, and Coral UI are, and when to use them
- An understanding of design and the ability to fill gaps, for example, if a design doesn’t cover all screen sizes or if a design isn’t consistent
- Experience with the latest frontend tools and technologies, such as SCSS, Webpack, ES6 JavaScript, TypeScript and Storybook.js
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- The ideal candidate will have a 2- or 4-year degree in CS/Engineering, be a bootcamp grad, or be self-taught with practical experience
- Ability and ambition to contribute to open source projects and to speak at meetups
- Experience with other platforms than AEM, such as Drupal and Magento
- Experience with Java and advanced understanding of Apache Maven
- Worked with Agile development, preferably SCRUM
