About AECOM Defence Work

• Broad and diverse scope — Our Defence work spans base estate infrastructure, environmental & contamination assessments (e.g. PFAS remediation), sustainability and climate-resilience studies, systems engineering, cyber/ICT, capability & asset support, and more.

• Full-lifecycle delivery — From planning and design through to construction, project management, advisory, and long-term support, we deliver Defence projects end-to-end.

Who You Bring

You might be a great fit if you:

• Are an Australian citizen (required for Defence clearance eligibility), or eligible for baseline Defence security clearance (or prepared to obtain it)

• Have relevant qualifications or professional experience in one or more of these areas (but are not limited to):

  • Civil / structural / mechanical / electrical / geotechnical / environmental / sustainability / environmental science / remediation / PFAS / environmental assessments

  • Project / construction management / program delivery

  • Systems / digital / ICT / cyber / capability support / defence-specialist systems

  • Advisory / planning / stakeholder & community engagement / risk, compliance & security

  • Architecture / design / buildings / infrastructure / environmental planning
     

• Demonstrate high integrity, collaboration, adaptability, technical excellence, and a desire to contribute meaningfully to projects that support Australia’s national defence and security
