Human Resources designs, implements and delivers human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, talent management, diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, among others. This function anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs in alignment with business strategies.
Payroll processes the organization's payroll according to company policy and applicable regulations, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and timely with correct withholding and deductions. This job family maintains payroll records and calculates overtime, shift payments, sales commissions and bonuses, taxes and deductions. Payroll prepares reports for management and to meet regulatory and collective bargaining obligations and addresses questions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll matters.
Job Summary
The Advisor, Global Timekeeping will play a critical role in supporting the expanding scope of Global Pay & Time within our organization. This position will be responsible for the strategic ownership, management, and continuous improvement of timekeeping processes and solutions for all regions outside of the United States. The Advisor will lead efforts in evolving timekeeping system transitions, ensuring compliance with international regulations, and driving operational efficiency across various global markets.
Location
Ideal location is within a 1-hour commute to Dublin, OH. The Advisor may work from home but must have the ability to come on-site to our Dublin office as needed, approximately once a month.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between COE’s, global payroll teams, HRIT, HRIS, and other stakeholders
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives that affect payroll, including development and execution
- Work with manager to develop best practices and controls
- Support production issues related to payroll and timekeeping
- Coordinate all required testing for projects, defects and enhancements
- Act as a leader in the HR Service Center through training and guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 4+ years' experience in payroll and timekeeping, preferred
- Experience with Workday timekeeping, strongly preferred
- Experience with payroll systems, such as ADP Celergo or other systems preferred
- Experience with large employer/multi-state and country knowledge
- Experience with benefits, open enrollments, timekeeping regulations
- FPC Certification, preferred
