Job Summary
Cardinal Health at Home Solutions is seeking a Finance Data Analyst to serve as a strategic partner to finance and operational leadership through high-quality data preparation, reporting, and analytics.
This role focuses on extracting, cleansing, consolidating, and visualizing financial and operational data to ensure leaders have timely, accurate, and actionable insights.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, technically strong with data tools, and experienced in building scalable reporting, dashboards, and self-service tools that support decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection: Extract, transform, and consolidate financial and operational data from multiple source systems (ERP, operational systems, external files, etc.) ensuring accuracy and consistency in analyses.
- Data Validation: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through validation, reconciliation, and ongoing quality checks. Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and process breakdowns; partner with stakeholders to resolve root causes.
- KPI Development: Develop, validate, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide senior management with critical business insights, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Assist senior management with in-depth ad hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making and financial planning initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, revenue cycle management and IT, to ensure data alignment and accuracy. Requires working with non-technical stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection processes, enhance data quality, and improve reporting efficiency.
- Research: Independently identify and extract specific data points from raw datasets, demonstrating a strong ability to navigate complex data sources. Proactively develop a deep understanding of enterprise data and business processes, utilizing analytical skills to uncover insights that support strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, preferred
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, or a related role, preferred
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis, preferred
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, etc)
- Experience with other data analysis tools (e.g. Alteryx) and/or programming languages (e.g., Python, R), preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.

This role is a hybrid role requiring candidates to be located within driving distance of offices in Carlsbad, CA or Dublin, OH.
Anticipated salary range: $90,600 - $129,400
