The role is responsible for designing and developing visualizations that effectively communicate customer behavior, model results, deepening strategies, and key performance insights to stakeholders.
This role plays a critical part in bridging data and business by transforming analytics into actionable strategies that drive customer engagement and growth. The Advisor partners closely with Data Science and Business teams to ensure insights are clearly communicated, adopted, and translated into measurable business impact. Position works mostly remote but occasional visits to the office in San Juan, PR may be required.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Translate data model outputs and analytical findings into clear, business-friendly insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as a liaison between Data Science and Business teams to align technical capabilities with business needs and priorities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and visualizations that communicate customer insights, model performance, and key business metrics.
  • Administer insights management and engagement platforms, including configuration, maintenance, and development of custom insights to support customer strategies.
  • Collaborate with Customer Intelligence and cross-functional teams to convert data insights into actionable customer engagement and growth initiatives.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to management, translating technical results into business impact and opportunities.
  • Identify, report, and track data-related incidents across systems, ensuring resolution, testing, and validation to maintain data integrity.
  • Monitor dashboard performance and data accuracy, identifying issues and validating solutions to ensure reliable business intelligence outputs.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
  • Three (3+) years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles, including hands-on experience with data visualization tools required.
  • Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
  • Experience bridging technical and business teams, translating analytical outputs into actionable business insights strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry preferred.
  • Strong data visualization skills with proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools required.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot), and PowerPoint required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data models and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language for diverse audiences.
  • Advanced bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish), both written and verbal, required.

WORK AUTHORIZATION & ELEGIBILITY:

  • Legally authorized to work in the US is required. This position is of indefinite duration and requires candidates to have permanent or ongoing work authorization.
  • Employee is responsible for maintaining eligible work authorization throughout his tenure with the organization.
