The Advisor Consultant (Internal Wholesaler) is responsible for driving asset growth by supporting the distribution of DoubleLine’s investment strategies to financial advisors. The role serves as a primary point of contact for advisors seeking insight into the firm’s investment views and product offerings. Working closely with the Global Relationship Manager (GRM), the Internal Wholesaler helps penetrate key advisor channels including wirehouses, independent broker-dealers, banks, and RIAs. The objective is to drive allocations to flagship funds while also supporting the launch and adoption of new strategies. The Internal Wholesaler’s performance is measured by net fund flows, assets under management, development of new advisor relationships, and retention of existing assets.
Job Functions
- Drive Net New Assets through proactive advisor engagement and relationship development
- Partner with GRMs to develop business within a specific geographic territory
- Clearly explain and position DoubleLine Strategies across all areas of taxable fixed income
- Assist GRMs with day-to-day tasks as a coordinated sales team
- Service advisors and existing assets by responding to product inquiries and providing market updates
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 66 license required
- Exceptional ability to build and maintain strategic relationships
- Results-oriented self-starter with strong work ethic
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Collaborative individual dedicated to the success of the team
